Training?  I passed my FCC exam, I don't need anything else.  I'm ready to go! Not sure where, but I'm ready!

Common sense should tell you that getting your Amateur Radio license is only the first step.  If you've purchased new radio gear, did you immediately throw away the instructions?  Or did you learn the proper way to operate your gear?

You owe it to yourself to learn how to get around in the "ham world."  How does an Autopatch work? What's the best way to get the most out of your Handheld Radio? Do you know how to get on a Net?  What's a net? As a matter of fact, what in the world IS an "autopatch?"

This generic training area is broken into two different segments:  General Radio Operations & Net/Emergency Communications.
