QSL Card for my first POTA Activation

3/7/2026

I've done some park hunting on FT-8, but this card is for contacts during activation of my first POTA Park! I've stayed at a rest area in the White River National Forest several times now, and one afternoon I decided to take the plunge and activate the forest (US-4410). The picture is taken at the summit of Loveland Pass (elevation 11,990 feet), along US Highway 6 in Colorado, but the activation location is at the Vail Pass Rest Area (Second map below).

This card will only be used to confirm contacts from that POTA location. If/When I activate other locations, I will create cards for those locations.

At some point in the future, I may create a generic POTA card, or I may just add the POTA logo to a couple of my other cards. I'm still thinking about long term cards.
